Bangladesh Coast Guard organised a free medical camp in Kandipara, Louhajang, Munshiganj, providing healthcare and medicines to the underprivileged on Wednesday.
The medical camp, held from 9 AM to 1 PM by BCG Composite Station Padma under the Dhaka Zone, served around 250 individuals, including women, children, and elderly patients, with free medical consultations and necessary medicines
Lt. Commander Harun-ur-Rashid, Media Officer at Coast Guard Headquarters, stated that since its inception, the Bangladesh Coast Guard has been actively supporting marginalised communities in coastal and riverside areas. As part of this ongoing commitment, the Coast Guard regularly conducts medical camps to deliver free treatment to the poor and disadvantaged. Lt. Commander Harun added that such humanitarian initiatives will continue in the future to support vulnerable communities across the country.
