Coast Guard distributes clothes

Under the management of Bangladesh Coast Guard Family Welfare Association, Chattogram, on Tuesday, June 23, 1300 pieces of sarees, 300 pieces of lungi and 100 pieces of three-pieces were distributed among the poor and destitute families of Rahmatpur, Haramiya, Musapur and Azimpur Unions under Sawndip Police Station.

Lt. M Mohiuddin, Treasurer of Bangladesh Coast Guard Family Welfare Association, Chattogram was present at the distribution. 

Besides, 200 pieces of sarees, 100 pieces of lungi and 50 pieces of three-pieces were distributed among the poor and destitute families of different areas of Kamalnagar upazila on Thursday which were supplied by United Commercial Bank Limited. 

Bangladesh Coast Guard has come forward to help the people of the coastal areas as the livelihood of the helpless and distressed people in the coastal areas has been cut off due to the ban on fishing in the sea for a total of 65 days from May 20, 2020 announced by the Government. Such support activities will continue in the future as well.
