Coast Guard DG returns home

Director General of Bangladesh Coast Guard Rear Admiral M Ashraful Haq returns to Dhaka after a four-day official visit to Japan.
He left Dhaka on November 18. At that time High officials of Bangladesh Coast Guard were present at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport to see off the Director General.
M Ashraful Haq participated in four-day long 2nd Coast Guard Global Summit (CGGS).
In the summit, a discussion was held on Maritime Safety and Marine Environment Protection and Maritime Security. Besides, it also discussed issues of interest and development of human resources around the world, establishing a foundation of dialogue and cooperation between the World Coast Guard and agencies.
During the visit, BCG Director paid courtesy call on head of Japan Coast Guard. Mentionable, with the financial help of Japanese government 24 modern boats are under construction in Japan, which is a symbol of good relations between two countries.
