Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) arranged a discussion on Saturday (August 19) on the occasion of National Mourning Day-2023 and the 48th martyrdom anniversary of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Deputy Minister for Education Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel attended the event as the chief guest with CMP Commissioner Krishna Pad Roy in the chair.
Vice-Chancellor of Premier University Professor Dr. Anupam Sen, Chattogram range DIG Nure Alam Mina, Dainik Azadi Editor MA Malek, and CMP Additional Commissioner (Finance & Administration) MA Masud were also at the event.
In his speech, Barrister Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel remembered the contribution of Bangabandhu in achieving freedom and independence.
The minister also distributed prizes among the winners of the ‘Recitation, Essay Writing, Painting and Quiz Competition’ organized on the theme of Bangabandhu’s life and ideals.
