As part of the inspection of the overall security arrangements for the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) Commissioner Hasib Aziz has inspected the Moizzartek, Patenga Charpara and Sagarika animal haats in Chattogram.
During the inspection on Tuesday, the CMP Commissioner highlighted various aspects of the security arrangements of the CMP at haats to the trader’s present.
During this visit, he advised them to contact the CMP's temporary control room for any legal assistance related to the animal haat. He also mentioned that the law enforcement agencies are vigilant to ensure that there is no extortion of any kind at the animal haats on the occasion of Qurbani and that terrorist activities or counterfeit money traders cannot operate.
