Classes will start at 9:00am and continue till 3:30pm at the government primary schools during the month of Ramadan. Teachers will get an interval of 30 minutes to offer prayers.
The decision has been taken in a coordination meeting held at Primary and Mass Education Ministry's conference room at the Secretariat here on Thursday. Ministry Secretary Farid Ahmed presided over the meeting
The office order also said the government primary schools will remain open till the 15th Ramadan (April 6).
Ramadan vacation will begin from April 7 and it will continue till April 26. Classes will resume on April 27.
Earlier, the office schedule of government, semi-government, autonomous and semi-autonomous institutions has also been changed during the holy month of Ramzan. These offices will remain open from 9am to 3.30pm three in the afternoon. There will be a break for Zohar prayer from 1:30 to 1:30.
