Local business conglomerate, City Group made an announcement of reducing the prices of its edible oil and sugar in view of the COVID-19 situation and the holy month of Ramadan.
The announcement on Monday said it has cut per liter edible oil price by Taka 5 while per kilogram (Kg) sugar price by Taka 3 with effect from today.
Now, the price of per liter soybean oil stands at Taka 105 instead of previous Taka 110 while Taka 208 for 2 liters instead of Taka 218 and Taka 505 for 5 liters instead of Taka 530, it said. Besides, sugar price now stands at Taka 69 per Kg instead of Taka 72, added the announcement.
