A fire broke out on the 5th-floor of a 14-storey building 'RS Tower' in city's Green Road area on Friday morning.
On information, six units of firefighters rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control at about 11.20am, duty officer of the fire service control room Rozina Akhter, told media.

The fire broke out in the building around 10 am. The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
No casualties were reported in the incident.
A probe has been ordered to ascertain the exact cause of the fire, fire service sources said.
