Blankets were distributed among one thousands helpless families at Enayet Bazar Women's College ground in Chattogram city on Friday.
Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor, former GS of MES College Students’ Union and Metropolitan Awami League leader, spoke on the occasion as the chief guest.
Enayet Bazar Ward Awami Jubo League leader Towhidul Islam Mithun supervisied the blanket distribution.
The chief guest Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor said that poor and helpless people are suffering due to the severity of winter in the country. Therefore, along with the government, the affluent society of the country should stand by the poor people. We need to stand by the broken families, working people and children. Extending the hand of humanity to the helpless people is the best thing to do.
