Talented model–actress Farzana Chumki, who has enthralled the audiences with her performance over the last two decades, is finally working in her maiden film. The actress is set to make her big-screen debut with eminent filmmaker Giasuddin Selim’s latest film ‘Paap Punno’.
Starring opposite to versatile actor Chanchal Chowdhury, the actress will be seen playing the role of his wife, Rabeya.
Sources said that the shooting of ‘Paap Punno’ has already begun, and Chumki is currently busy shooting her part in the film till September 10.
Chumki said about working in her first film, “As this is my maiden film, I am pleased with the project so far. Both Giasuddin Selim, as a filmmaker, and his films are accepted by the viewers—this is already a proven fact. We all are working in the film as a family.”
“Though I was offered to perform in a film during the early days of my career, I had to skip the opportunity as the situation in the film industry was not suitable for me. Finally, though it’s late, I am going to make my debut with such a film which offers a good story under a talented director like Giasuddin Selim. I am really happy about this”, the actress added further.
Chumki’s first tele-drama was ‘Jibon Jekhane Jemon’ directed by Wahiduzzaman Diamond while her fist TV commercial was Pintu-directed ‘Winter Guard Lip Gel’.
