Solaiman Hoque Joarder Selun, MP from Chuadanga-1 constituency, inaugurated a tree planting programme of Chuadanga Water Development Board (WDB) on both sides of Noboganga river at Jafarpur village in Chuadanga Sadar Upazila on Wednesday.
It is learnt that about 48,000 various types of saplings will be planted on both sides of the river under the auspices of Chuadanga Water Development Board on the occasion of ‘Mujib Barsho’.
Munsi Alamgir Hannan, Organizing Secretary of District AL unit, Mohammad Yahia Khan, ADC (General), Sadiqur Rahman, UNO of Sadar upazila, Jahedul Islam, Executive Engineer of Chuadanga Water Development Board and Shudhir Kumar, Sub-divisional Engineer of Chuadanga were present at the time.
Later Solaiman Hoque Joarder, MP, released 60 Kgs of fish fries in Noboganga river. Local elite, political leaders, journalists and others were present at time of fish fry releasing.
