Jahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chuadanga, distributed food items (polau chal, soabyn tel, dal, semai, chini, narical, mosla) and dresses (three piece/saree/panjabi/paijama/ baby sets) among 31 freedom fighters' families of police department in Chuadanga on May 18. He distributed the items on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr.
According to press release of SP office, members of police department took part in freedom fight in 1971.
Accordingly 31 members of police department here participated in the fight and their families have been living in Chuadanga. On behalf of police department Jahidul Islam, SP, gave food items and dresses to them at their houses through the personnel of police.
Jahidul Islam, SP, said I think freedom fighter police members are honorable person and should have to honor them. So police department has taken step for honor them on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr to give some food items and dresses.
