Chuadanga road crash kills 2

Two youths were killed and another was injured as a motorcycle collided with a human hauler at Joyrampur on Chuadanga-Jibannagar road in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district on Monday night. 

The deceased were identified as the human hauler driver Laltu Mia, 22, son of Iman Ali, resident of Amdanga in Damurhuda upazila and motor cyclist Rifat, 18, son of Kaisar Ali, resident of Akundobaria in Sadar upazila of the district. The injured is Manik, 20, son of Hafizur Rahman, hailed from Ramnagar area of Chuadanga. 

According to the witnesses and Damurhuda Police sources, two friends named Rifat and Manik were going to Darshana riding a motorcycle. A human hauler collided head on with the motorcycle when they reached the area. 

Laltu was killed on the spot. Rifat was declared death when he was taken to Damurhuda Health Complex for treatment. Injured Manik was released after getting treatment in the health complex. 

Abdul Al Mamun, OC (Investigation) of Damurhuda Police Station said on information police rushed to the spot, recovered the bodies from the spot and health complex and sent the bodies to Chuadanga Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy. A case was filed with the police station in this connection.
