A cattle trader was killed in a road accident near Kuatala-Muhhammadpur Government Primary School in Alamdanga Upazila of Chuadanga on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as Rajibul Haque, 30, son of Budo Mandal, resident of Thanapara under Hardi union of the Upazila.
Witnesses said a passenger bus hit a motorcycle carrying Rajibul in the area in the morning, leaving him critically injured. He succumbed to his injury while he was being taken to Kushtia Medical College Hospital.
Inspector (Investigation) of Alamdanga Police Station said the cattle trader was killed as a passenger bus rammed into a motorcycle carrying him in the area in the morning while he was going to Hatboalia. The legal procedure will be taken if any complaint is filed by his family members.
