Chuadanga missing teen rescued from Tangail

Police rescued missing minor girl from Karihata village under Tangail’s Gopalpur Thana on Saturday eight days after she went missing from her home.

Eight grader Morium Akhtar Mili, 14, daughter of Fatema Khatun and Milon Hossain from Kutubpur village of Chuadanga’s Damurhuda Upazila went missing from her home on October 10, said a press release of Chuadanga’s Superintendent of Police (SP) office.

As family failed to trace her, her mother filed a general diary on October 11 with Damurhuda Police Station. 

Later, Chuadanga SP Jahidul Islam SP instructed Sub-inspector Abdul Baki to act accordingly.

Police traced the girl through mobile call list and rescued her from Tangail on Saturday.  

Fatema Khatun, mother of the girl, thanked the SP and SI for rescuing her daughter.
