The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has handed over face masks and hand sanitisers as gifts to the members of Diplomatic Correspondents Association, Bangladesh (DCAB).
DCAB President Angur Nahar Monty and General Secretary Touhidur Rahman received those supplies on Tuesday from the officials of the embassy. The gifts include 2,000 face masks and four boxes of hand sanitizers, the DCAB said.
The demand of face masks and hand sanitisers went up due to coronavirus crisis. The Chinese Embassy in Dhaka has been providing medical logistics to the government of Bangladesh and various private organisations since the beginning of the outbreak in Bangladesh. They also donated testing kits to Bangladesh.
