To diversify Bangladesh’s apparel sector and enrich product quality standards, Chinese company Kaiqi International organized an exhibition featuring world-class knitting machines from Chuangfu Knitting Machinery.
The “International Knitting Machineries Exhibition” and inauguration ceremony of advanced technology machines was held on Saturday at a five-star hotel in the capital. Speaking at the event, Managing Director of Kaiqi International, Gao, said that for Bangladesh’s RMG sector to secure the number one position in the global market, it needs the best technologies that can simultaneously reduce production costs and improve efficiency.
“That is why we have brought Chuangfu machines,” he said.
Known worldwide for its strong presence in sweater knitting technology, Chuangfu Group showcased its advanced, high-performance, and cost-efficient machines at the exhibition. The event was not merely a display of machinery—it was an opportunity and a platform that can help build a stronger future framework for Bangladesh’s RMG industry.
Managing Director of Chuangfu Group, Mr. Fu, said that machines operated through an intelligent production management system are capable of knitting 1.5 meters per second. Equipped with a full-motor drive system and smart electronic yarn-feeding technology, these machines ensure faster production, fewer defects, and consistent quality.
For the Bangladesh market, Kaiqi International is also providing local technical support, rapid spare parts supply, on-site installation, and training services.
While addressing, BKMEA President Md. Hatem, said that installing such advanced technology in factories would further strengthen the industry’s position in the global market.
This year’s theme was “Knitting Your Vision.” The exhibition featured cutting-edge technologies including jacquard, cable knit, pointelle, intarsia, ribbed cuffs and collars, as well as 3D knitting designs.
Besides Bangladeshi business leaders, people associated with the global fashion industry from various parts of the world gathered at this colorful event.
