The Republic of China has expressed its interest to participate in celebrating ‘Mujib barsho’, the birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
In that continuation, the Chinese embassy in Bangladesh had organised a magnificent and colourful gala night full of cultural performances at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy on Frida to celebrate Mujib Barsho (2020-21), the 45th year of Bangladesh-China friendship, and also to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
On the occasion, dance troupes presented their performances; also, exotic acrobatic displays were performed for the enjoyment of the audience. Adding to these were a mixture of classic songs by Chinese signer along with a Chinese-native string instrument. All these performances kept the mood of the audience high and jolly.
The people of Bangladesh and China have been good neighbours and friends. And, in the continuation of that friendship China plans to get into the celebrations of Mujib Barsho to strengthen the ties with Bangladesh even more.
