A woman was beaten to death by agitated people under suspicion of being a child-lifter at Uttar Badda in the capital.
This incident took place on the kacha bazar road of Uttar Badda on Saturday morning.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Badda Police Station Rafiqul Islam confirmed the matter.
After mass beating, she was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where doctor declared her dead.
Witnesses said three women tried to enter into a school at the area in the morning.
Off them, two women fled away as they were being chased by the locals while another was caught red handed and beaten to injured.
