Being born with the rare and complex Meningocele (a disorder of structure or function in a human, animal, or plant, especially one that produces specific symptoms or that affects a specific location and is not simply a direct result of physical injury) disease, 10 month old Ayati Khatun Imla has no luck to grow up on the lap of her parents with affection.

Rather she spent all her time in bed weeping in utter pangs of pain. All the family members of this tiny-tot find no way to console the child rather to watch helplessly and feel sorry for her in silence.

Child Imla is the daughter of Jalal Khan Golap of Bondhogate area of Bilsimla of Rajshahi city. An Meningocele tumour that Imla is carrying over her buttock can be operated upon but it requires about Taka 350,000 ( US $ 4,500) and the hapless parents of Imla have no way to manage the money. As a result, innocent Imla is continuing to grow in pangs with the tumour.

Jalal Khan Golap, father of the child informed, he has been a Tea stall owner. But, after an accident in 2012, he left the stall and thereafter he remained unemployed. He second daughter manages the family with the small income she earns by working at a private organisation. It is not being possible to bear the cost of treatment of Imla with the small money she earns.

As a result, Jalal Khan has been moving door to door with the prescriptions of Imla seeking a favour from everyone. But, no one or no organisation has so far come forward to bear the cost of treatment as well as the operation cost of the child. As a result, her father is utterly disappointed to manage money for the treatment of the child.

According to family sources, Imla was born on December-5,2019. But, she was not born like other healthy children. A large tumour was found sprout out from over her buttock (at the end of the waist).

Physicians of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital informed the bulge that the child was carrying was a complex, rare form of Meningocele tumour which requires an operation to remove after she is she is a few months old. She was released from the hospital on December-18 and she continued to grow at her home.

On March 18, 2020 the tumour Meningocele suddenly blasted making her condition critical. Imla was then admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital again when the doctors suggests an imme diate operation of the tumour and advised her father to admit the child to National Institute of Neuroscience and Hospital in Dhaka.

Jalal khan contacted with the doctors at the NINH in Dhaka and could learn that it would cost Taka 350,000 to operate upon the tumour.

So far, he could not manage the money and failed to take her son to Dhaka. By the time, the tumour blasted for the second time on July-25 and her father took her to RMCH once again but the doctors at the hospital did not admit her there rather suggest to take her to Dhaka and admit her to NINH immediately. But for want of money, Jalal Khan could not take her to Dhaka for treatment. He urged to the well-off people of society to save the life of her innocent child by sending money. The mobile number of Jalal Khan is 01720358000.
