A seven year girl child died of snake bite in a Kaliganj village of Jhenidah on Sunday midnight. The incident took place at Bhatghora-Doyapur village. The deceased was Julia Khatun, daughter of Jasim Uddin of the village. She studying in class one in the primary school in the village.
Nasir Uddin, a parternal uncle of Julia said Julia along with her parents was sleeping in their house. At about 2 AM. she sustained snake bite and taken to Kaliganj upazila health complex. Attending physicians at the health complex declared her death.
