Subarnachar Correspondent: A tragic incident occurred in Subarnachar upazila of Noakhali, where a three-year-old boy named Ayan drowned in a pond. The accident took place on Wednesday morning in Char Jubilee village, Ward No. 1 of Char Jubilee Union.
Ayan was the son of Ala Uddin, a resident of the village and a member of Dr Rahim’s household.
According to local sources, Ayan had been playing in the yard when he suddenly went missing. After searching for a while, his family members found him floating in the pond near their home. He was quickly rescued and taken to Subarnachar Upazila Health Complex, where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Officer-in-Charge of Char Jabbar Police Station, Shahin Mia, stated, “We have been informed of the incident. If a written complaint is submitted, necessary legal steps will be taken.”
