An unidentified child died after falling from a moving train in the capital's Banani area on Wednesday night.
The identity of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Deputy Inspector (SI) of Dhaka Railway Airport said that the child fell down from the door of Kamalapur bound Panchagarh Express train on the west side of Banani Army Stadium around 12:30 pm on Wednesday and died.
The body of the child was recovered from there at night after receiving the news. Later, the legal process was completed and sent the body to the morgue of Dhaka Medical College Hospital for post-mortem on Thursday afternoon.
