A child was reportedly killed by crashing under a plow tractor while he was watching the tilling at Kanchanpara village under Dhantola union of Baliadangi upazila on Saturday.
The deceased was identified as NurNabi, 7, son of Rasel Ali hailed from previously mentioned area.
According to the land owner Majharul Islam, on the evening tractor driver Lal Mohammad son of Mafij Uddin was cultivating in my land.
Nurnabi was watching this from the side of the land. The child was suppressed by the tractor's instrument and died on the spot.
The tractor driver fled away from the spot. No case has been filed yet in this connection.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Baliadangi Police Station, Hasibul Islam confirmed the matter.
