After receiving plaudits for playing the titular role in her maiden film ‘Arpita’, directed by Shahriar Nazim Joy, child artiste Sporsho is once again set to appear in the lead role. This time around, Sporsho will be appearing in a television feature film titled ‘Minu’.
Shopon Kibriya has written and directed the film with an aim of screening the film at international film festivals. Popular actress Deepa Khandaker, and young generation model-actress Rani Ahad will be seen playing two important roles in the film.
Sources said that the shooting of the feature film has already begun in the capital’s Bashundhara area.
Regarding the plot, Shopon Kibriya said, “Through the character of Minu, numerous other Minus in our society and their sufferings will come into light. Not only that, the sacrifices that the mothers make for their children will also become visible. In order to achieve the social rights, the picture of daily life tragedies and discrimination will be presented through the society’s current scenarios.”
“The story of ‘Minu’ is the representation of the current society. Sporsho is playing the character of Minu splendidly. We are doing a good work and as an artiste I am satisfied with the project so far. I hope to see its success as the director dreamt of”, said Deepa on her part.
According to Rani, the work of ‘Minu’ is both challenging and holds a beautiful story, she is really optimistic about the film, the actress said.
