Farzana Chhoby is a popular actor of the small screen. She is no longer regular in acting. Despite not being regular her film 'Joy Nagarer Zamindar' was released. Abu Sayeed Khan acted opposite Farzana. No movies were released in the first week of 2020. Finally, on the second Friday of the year (January 10), the new Dhaka film 'Joy Nagarer Zamindar' was released yesterday.
It is directed by drama director M Shakhawat Hossain. Arman Parvez Murad, Kajal Majumdar, Shyamal Zakaria, M A Salaam and Kaniz Lia have also acted in it. Farzana Chhoby said, ‘Even if we do not call it a historical movie, we will not be able to bypass the context of history.
Because the visuals, language and dialogue itself prove that it is set in the past. The Zamindar of Joy Nagar was crucial for women empowerment. I hope the audience will like this movie.’
