Chehlum of Zainul Haque Sikder, chairman of the National Bank Ltd (NBL) and Sikder Group of Industries, and a valiant freedom fighter, will be held on the premises of Z H Sikder Women’s Medical College, Rayer Bazar, after Zohr prayers today (Monday), said a press statement.
A doa mahfil has been organised to mark the day.
Widow of this valiant freedom fighter Monowara Haque Sikder and members of her family have invited all to attend the programme, the release added.
Noted industrialist Zainul Haque Sikder died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Dubai on February 10 this year.
