State Minister for Posts, Telecommunication and Information Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak said that if any innovative youth of Chittagong wants to become an entrepreneur, the present government is ready to provide all the services they need. 

 The Prime Minister has already given three gifts to Chittagong, they are the 10-storey Sheikh Kamal IT Business Incubator Center at a cost of 100 crores, the Sheikh Kamal IT Training Center Incubation is under construction, when these works are completed, Chittagong will be transformed into a Silicon City.

He said that for the development of Bangladesh and to fulfil the Prime Minister's dream, we have to turn IT freelancers into entrepreneurs through proper training.  There are many people who are working from villages, upazilas and online marketplaces of the country and abroad through outsourcing.  

 IT minister made the remarks while addressing as the chief guest in the opening ceremony of the 5th International Technology Fair organized by Chittagong Chambers and Commerce Industry (CCCI) at the city's World Trade Center on Saturday morning.  

Chittagong Chambers and Commerce President Omar Hazzaz presided over the event.  President of Society of Chittagong IT Professional Md. Abdullah Farid, Country Manager of Shofos SM Mohsin, Advisor of Technology Fair Shipan Kumar spoke on the occasion.  

The three-day IT fair will run from February 17-19, from 10 am to 8 pm daily.  Open for all.  There are 64 stalls of 40 domestic and foreign companies.
