Channel i stepped into their 21st year on air today. To mark the special occasions a cake will be cut at midnight by Channel i family members and prominent figures. Special programmes will be aired throughout the day to celebrate the anniversary.
At 7:30 in the morning, live music show ‘Gaane Gaane Shokal Shuru’ will be aired. Starting from 10 am to 5 in the evening a fair titled ‘Channel i’s 21st year’ will be held on the station’s premises. Established and newcomer artists will perform on an open air stage. Channel i reality show stars will also perform music and dance onstage. There will also be musical theatre, poetry recitation and other arrangements to mark the special day.
The day’s festivities will be concluded through cake cutting and fireworks display at 7 in the evening.
