The film 'Chandrabati Kotha' has been acclaimed in many international film festivals. This time the country is preparing for its release in theaters. The film was submitted to the Film Censor Board and has finally got the clearance.
'Chandrabati Kotha' has directed by N Rashed Chowdhury and Dilruba Doel played the lead role in the movie. Jayant Chattopadhyay, Mita Rahman, Gazi Rakayet, Arman Parvez Murad, Nawshaba Ahmed, Imtiaz Barshan, Jayita Mahlanbish and others also in the movie.
It is learnt that the movie was released on February 28 without any cuts.
'Chandrabati Kotha' is based on the life story of a sad widow who became the author of the first feminist poet Chandrabati in Bengali literature. Based on the story of Mymensingh lyricist, its construction started at the end of 2015. The shooting was completed in 2019.
‘Chandrabati Kotha’ is a joint production of government-sponsored Mangrove Pictures and Bengal Creations. Soon the film will be released in different theaters of the country said the producer.
