ChanChanchal Chowdhury is a renowned National Film Award winning actor of the country. He has spent an era of his career acting in movies.
ChanChanchal Chowdhury has completed the work of two new movies. One is Gias Uddin Selim's 'Paap Punya' and the other is Mejbaur Rahman Sumon's first movie ‘Hawa’.
The movie 'Pap Punya' is a story of a union level village life, where ChanChanchal Chowdhury will be seen playing the role of a chairman. On the other hand, the movie 'Hawa' is basically the story of the struggling life of the coastal fishermen. Here, ChanChanchal Chowdhury will be seen playing the role of the chief boatsman.
Chanchal Chowdhury had been shooting for 30 consecutive days in Chandpur for the movie 'Paap Punya'. On the other hand, he has completed the work of the movie 'Hawa' after shooting for 45 consecutive days on the beach.
During the shooting of ‘Hawa’, he was separated from his family for 45 days in a row.
Regarding acting in two movies, Chanchal said, “My acting will strengthen the current trend of Bangladeshi cinema. My two films are good, I can say this without any doubt. Needless to say, I have been acting in movies for a long time.
If I don't like the story and the character, I will not act in any movie at the request of anyone. If I read the story and realize that this movie will not be accepted if it is released, I will not act in that movie.
The audience will once again get a touch of the magic in the writing, directing and production of the revered Gias Uddin Selim in the movie ‘Paap Punya’. On the other hand, this is Sumon's first movie.
But Sumon has made the movie with greatest of care. My guess is that this kind of movie about the struggling life of the seafarers has never been made before. I believe that if two movies are released, they will get a good response from the audience.”
