Begum Farzana Kabir, President of Bangladesh Coast Guard Family Welfare Association (CGFWA), distributed 200 blankets, 148 sweaters and 10 shawls among poor and distress people at Coast Guard Station Gazaria area and Chandpur on Monday.
The CGFWA distributed warm clothes among the unprivileged children and elder people to save them from bitter cold. The platform has been distributing the warm clothes since 2012, says a press release issued by Bangladesh Coast Guard.
Director General of Bangladesh Coast Guard Rear Admiral M Ashraful was present during distribution of warm clothes. Other high officilas of the Coast Guard and members of the CGFWA were also present at the time.
