Certificate award ceremony of BAF flight safety officers’ course held

The certificate-award ceremony of No 63 Flight Safety Officers’ Course of Bangladesh Air Force was held at Flight Safety Institute (FSI) of BAF Base Bashar on Thursday, said an ISPR press release.

Assistant Chief of Air Staff (Maintenance) Air Vice Marshal Md Quamrul Ehsan attended the ceremony as chief guest and distributed certificates among the trainee officers. A total of 17 trainee officers, including 10 from BAF, 02 from Bangladesh Navy, 02 from Royal Saudi Air Force, one each from Bangladesh Army, Royal Malaysian Air Force and Sri Lanka Air Force attended the course. 

Flight Lieutenant Faisal Ahamed of BAF received the “chief of air staff’s trophy” for his best performance in the course. 

The chief guest congratulated the trainee officers for successful completion of training and urged them to perform their duties with professionalism.  Earlier, Officer Commanding of FSI gave a brief resume on courses run by FSI. 

Senior officers of Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force and representatives from Sri Lanka and Malaysian High Commission were present on the occasion.
