On the eve of the Great Victory Day, the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs is launching a five-day Liberation Warfare-based film festival ‘Celluloid-e 71’ at the National Library Auditorium in Shahbag of the capital on December 15.
The Bangladesh Film Archive and the Bangladesh International Film Movement have been partners in the festival's planning and overall management under SS Communications, sponsored by the e-commerce site Evaly. In addition to full length films on Liberation War, documentaries and short films will also be screened at the festival.
Regarding the sponsorship, Mohammad Rassel, CEO of e-commerce site Evaly, said, “Evaly has joined the festival as part of corporate social responsibility. In addition, Evaly was born on December 16. Taking the essence of the great Victory Day, Evaly continues to work. In the first year of its founding, we are proud to sponsor the War of Liberation Film Festival.”
