Chattogram Development Authority (CDA) newly appointed chairman Freedom Fighter Mohammad Yunus on Sunday inspected the road work from Kalurghat Bridge to Chaktai Canal along the banks of Karnaphuli river.
During the visit, he directed for the speedy completion of the work of sluice gate under construction on Chaktai canal with proper quality standards. He also put emphasis on planting trees on the slopes of the dam under construction.
CDA Chief Engineer Kazi Hasan Bin Shams, Supervising Engineer AM Habibur Rahman, Project Director Rajib Das, DCTP Abu Issa Ansari, Executive Engineer-2 Mohammad Shamim, Project Director FM Momtaz Uddin and DPM Consultant officials were present.
