CCC mayor distributes relief among fire victims

Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Md. Rezaul Karim Chowdhury said, “No one knows about the disaster at any time, it is determined by nature.”

“However, during the Corona period, this fire is miserable for people.  

The death march on the corona virus is getting longer; people are going to be exhausted in many ways.  No family is completely destitute when robbers rob a household and a thief steals.  However, when a fire breaks out in a household nothing is left, everything is burnt to ashes”, he added.

He said that even then, when life did not burn to ashes, he had to turn around.  That is why I am standing by your side to turn around.

 He said this while distributing relief items among 50 families in the fire that broke out at Abul Colony in East Sholashahar Ward No. 6 on Friday afternoon.

 He handed over rice, flour, edible oil, pulses and other necessary items for each family.

 He also called on all to abide by health rules and take precautionary measures to prevent fires.  He called upon the wealthy and able people and institutions to come forward for the rehabilitation of the families affected by the fire.
