Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) has started work to enhance the beauty of Outer Stadium worth Tk 3 crore 98 lakh 77 thousand in the city. Mayor of the city AJM Nasir Uddin inaugurated the project on Friday.
At that time, the mayor unveiled a nameplate at the adjoining Outer Stadium in the city.
The mayor said the entire city will be beautified. However, he sought the media's help to make the citizens responsible for the work.
He added that, various initiatives will be taken to beautify outer stadium. Drains around the ground, walkways and free stage for conducting cultural activities will be constructed. Under this project, there are also plans to construct a link roads that will connect SS Khaled Road to Naval Avenue Road.
Chattogram Press Club President and CJKS Cricket Committee Vice Chairman Ali Abbas, CCC Executive Engineer Abu Sadat and Md Tayab were present at the inaugural ceremony.
