Chattogram District Bar Association President and senior lawyer Advocate Abdus Sattar has filed a case against Dhaka's diagnostic center Praava Health for giving fake reports in Corona tests.

On Monday, Judge Ibrahim Khalil of the Chattogram Metropolitan Magistrate 2nd Court issued summons against the accused after hearing the case.

The accused in the case are - Managing Director of Banani Prabha Health Diagnostic in Dhaka, Dr. Simin M. Akhter, report preparer Dr. Zahid Hossain and Junior Scientific Officer Rajowan Al Rimon.

Assistant PP of the Chattogram Metropolitan Sessions Judge's Court Md. Raihanul Wazed Chowdhury gave this information.  He said, "This case has been filed on charges of embezzlement, fraud and causing death due to negligence by providing incorrect corona test reports. After the hearing, the court has issued summons against all three accused." It is learned from the statement that Advocate Abdus Sattar is suffering from heart disease. He was admitted to the CCU of CSCR Hospital after suffering a heart attack on March 7, 2021.

On March 20, at 4 pm, as per the doctor's advice, he gave a sample for corona test at Prabha Health's Mirpur Collection Center in Dhaka to get a heart ring. But the report was identified as corona positive. The report mentioned 9:31 am as the time of sample collection, so he became skeptical about the report. Later, after consulting other doctors, he advised to do a Covid test again from another institution. The next day, on March 21, he went to AMZ Hospital in Dhaka and got a Covid test done. The report found that corona was negative. Later, on April 7, 2021, the accused did not respond well.
