Carew and Co. (Bangladesh) Ltd under Bangladesh Sugar and Food Industries Corporation won the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award- 2022 in “State-owned Industry” category.
Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun and Senior Secretary of the Ministry Zakia Sultana awarded the Certificate of Excellence to Md. Mosharraf Hossain, Managing Director of Carew and Co. (Bangladesh) Ltd, at the multipurpose hall of the Foreign Service Academy in the capital on Saturday. Carew and Co. (Bangladesh) Ltd won the award in the “State-owned Industry” category. The program was presided over by Muhammad Mesbahul Alam, Director General (Additional Secretary) of National Productivity Organization (NPO). Industries Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun attended the award ceremony as the chief guest. Senior Secretary Zakia Sultana, Ambassador and Rector of Bangladesh Foreign Service Academy Mashfee Binte Shams and President of FBCCI Mahbubul Alam attended the meeting as special guests.
This year 21 organizations were awarded the National Productivity and Quality Excellence Award-2022 in recognition of the excellence for increasing productivity and manufacturing quality products.
