Canada has announced to reopen its borders for international tourists from September 7.

The Canadian government said, borders will reopen for international tourism, considering the domestic coronavirus situation remains favourable.

Though, for fully vaccinated travellers, there is a high chance of being able to travel to Canada in September.

Travellers must be fully vaccinated at least 14 days before entering Canada. Also, travellers must be vaccinated with the vaccines recognised by the country which are Pfixer - BioNTech, AstraZeneca/Covishield, and Johnson & Johnson.

In fact, Canada is kicking-off the border reopening on August 9 by permitting only American citizens, permanent residents, and those who are fully vaccinated, to enter for leisure or non-essential travel.

Reports said travellers must use ArriveCAN, in either web or app version, to submit travel information. This will tell the travellers whether they are eligible to enter into Canada, and it will also determine whether or not they have to quarantine in Canada upon arrival.

Nevertheless, fully vaccinated travellers are not required to quarantine upon entry.

As of now, there is a three-night quarantine rule in place at a government approved hotel. This too will be dropped from August 9 onwards.

Canada reported a decline in coronavirus cases since vaccination rates picked up across the country recently.
