With the participation of thousands of the lovers of the Holy Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him), a huge peace rally and  'International Peace Conference' on the occasion of Holy Eid-e-Miladunnabi (PBUH) observed at the historical Suhrawardy Udyan in Dhaka on Sunday by 'Anjuman-e-Rahmania Mainia Maizbhandaria'.

Sayeed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani, president of the organisation, presided over the conference. In his speech, he said, "Holy Prophet (PBUH) came on the earth not only for Muslims or mankind but for all of the creations of Allah. By the 'Charter of Madinah,' he ensured equity and justice in the state irrespective of religion, race, gender.”

He said, “Holy Prophet (PBUH) not only guided us the righteous way but also proved practically. He conquered Mecca without any bloodshed and ensured human rights even during his defensive war. The dignity of women is conserved by the State of Madina. Today's world has been facing war, communal conflicts, climate change problems, annexations, anarchy, discrimination, severe violence against humanity, and racism. If we want to ensure peaceful coexistence among people of different faiths, we must have to be tolerant and have respect for others."

Sayeed Saifuddin Ahmed Al Hasani urged the world leaders to come in the way of peace stopping war and greed of dominance over others leaving parochial self-interests. " Besides facing climate change and post-Covid-19 pandemic effects, the world is now at risk of hunger, extreme recession and poverty. So now we have to be united for global peace to secure a safe and progressive future," he added.

Minister of the Liberation War Affairs AKM Mojammel Hoque MP was the chief guest at the conference. He said, "Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the brightest inspiration for global peace and communal harmony. Peace-loving people come and observe Holy Eid-E-Miladunnabi (PBUH) to forward the message of fraternity. It’s very significant for national and regional security too."

State Minister of Religious Affairs Md Faridul Hoque inaugurated the conference. He said in his address that the government has been observing this occasion. Islam never allows extremism and dishonors other religions. I congratulate the organiser for organising such a programme from where people can get the strong message of peace and dedicate themselves to the nation and society.
