Miscreants stabbed a hatchery trader to death in broad daylight at Addirgola Bazaar under Sadar upazila in Bogura on the morning of November 14.

The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahim 50, son of Mozahar Ali,—a resident of Chackjhapu village of sadar upazila. Abdur Rahim was a fish hatchery trader.

Sanatan Chakrabarty, additional superintendent of police (Sadar Circle) in Bogura and detective branch personnel visited the site.

Prima facie, previous enmity is the cause of this murdered. A team is working to catch the culprits, Sanatan Chakrabarty said.  “Abdur Rahim was at Addirgola Bazaar at around 11 am. At that time, a gang of terrorists stabbed him at random, killing him on the spot,” said ASM Bodiuzzaman, Officer-In-Charge (OC) of Bogura Sadar Police Station.
