Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSCIC) will provide ‘Business Incubation Facility’ and necessary cooperation for business development to 1 lakh youth and women entrepreneurs.
With this aim in view the BSCIC has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bangladesh Institute of ICT in Development (BIID). The MoU was signed in a ceremony at BSCIC office, Matijheel in the capital on Sunday.
BSCIC Secretary Md. Mofidul Islam and CEO of BIID, Md. ShahidUddin Akbar signed the MoU on behalf of the respective organization in presence with BSCIC Chairman Md. MoshtaqHossainndc.
Addressing the signing ceremony, speakers said under the MoU the BIID will provide business support services like Incubation, proto-typing, co-working space and mentorship through its Lab.
Director (Industries and Expansion), Md. KhalilurRahman, Director (Engineering & Project Implementation), Muhammad AtaurRahmanSiddiki, DGM (Dev), Ratan Kumar Aich were present on the occasion among others.
