Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) celebrated its 17th founding anniversary with lively events and enthusiasm yesterday.
The university marked the occasion with a series of programmes throughout the day, according to a press release.
To start the celebration, BUP Vice Chancellor Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam released fish fry into the BUP Lake, symbolizing environmental care and sustainability. He also planted a sapling on the university campus, emphasizing the importance of greenery and nature conservation.
A colourful rally followed, featuring BUP officials, faculty members, administrative staff, and students. The vibrant procession moved around the campus, showcasing the unity and spirit of the university community.
The Vice Chancellor and other senior officials also visited various stalls set up as part of the BUP Career Fest. The fest aimed to provide students with information about career opportunities and guidance for their professional futures.
