The inauguration ceremony of the ‘BUP Career and Education Fest – 2025’ was held on Monday at the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) campus in Dhaka.
Organised by the BUP Career Club, the three-day-long fest will run from 23 to 25 June, aiming to bridge the gap between academia and industry by equipping students with career-oriented insights and opportunities.
Now in its eighth edition, the flagship event has grown into a major platform for career guidance and networking. This year’s fest includes a series of seminars, interactive sessions with industry leaders, corporate engagement panels, and skill development workshops. Over 35 reputed companies from various sectors across the country are taking part, offering students a valuable chance to engage with employers, submit their CVs, and explore diverse career pathways.
The inaugural session was attended by Professor Dr Wahiduddin Mahmud, Adviser to the Ministry of Planning, as the Chief Guest.
Major General Md Mahbub-ul Alam, Vice Chancellor of BUP, along with senior officials, faculty members, students, and distinguished guests were also present.
The event aims to foster career readiness among students by aligning academic knowledge with real-world workplace demands.
