Social Welfare Club of BUFT distribute clothes 100 underprivileged children Social Welfare Club of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) organized a programme to distribute clothes among underprivileged children as a part of their social responsibility for the society.
The programme was organized at Multipurpose Hall of main campus at Nishatnagar, Turag in Dhaka on Thursday, said a press release. More than 100 children received new clothes for Eid along with Iftar. Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, vice chancellor (acting) of BUFT was present as the chief guest.
Prof. Dr. S M Adu Raishan, treasurer (Designate), Md. Shahjahan, registrar, A N M Rafiqul Alam, director of students welfare, Prof. Dr. Abdul Jalil, dean , Faculty of Science and Md. Nazmul Hossain, FCA, CFO distributed outfits to the underprivileged children.
Dr. Engr. Md. Hasan Ikbal, head of the KMT Department & advisor of Social Welfare Club, head of the department of AMT, Ms. Farhana Jannat, head of the Department of FDT, Ms. Sumiya Sultana, head of the Department of FD, Ms. Sarmily Sarker, head acting PRO, Md. Atikur Rahman, faculty members, officials, students and all members of Social Welfare Club of BUFT were present in the programme.
