BGMEA University of Fashion and Technology (BUFT) organised an orientation programme for the newly admitted students of Fall 2019 semester on its main campus in Dhaka. BUFT arranged the function for students in the B.Sc. (Hons) in AMT, FDT, KMT, TE, TEM, IE, English, BBA and Masters Programmes, said a press release. Industry Minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun, MP, was present at the event as the chief guest.
He gave special emphasis on developing new students as enlightened and capable people for the country.
Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP, also a founder member of the Board of Trustees (BOT), BUFT, was present at the event as the special guest.
Muzaffar U. Siddique, founder chairman, Board of Trustees, BUFT, chaired the function. He gave a flower bouquet and crest to the chief guest and special guest of the programme.
Founder members of Board of Trustees, Md. Faruque Hassan, SM Mannan (Kochi), and Md. Moshiul Azam were also present at the programme.
Vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Engr. Ayub Nabi Khan, registrar, treasurer, director of administration. CFO, head of Logistics, project director, head of PR, all heads of the academic and administrative departments, faculty members, officials, staff of BUFT, along with media personnel, the newly admitted students and their guardians were present at the function.
