Abrar’s murder has thrown the country’s top engineering university into an uproar. Students from Buet have been continuously demanding exemplary punishment for the killers so that justice can be given to the untimely demise of the meritorious Abrar Fahad. However, in lieu of recent turns of events Buet   students have decided to withdraw from the protests as the authorities concerned have accepted most of their demands. However, the students are adamant on boycotting their academics until the killers are expelled from the university and the law enforcement submits the charge-sheet of Abrar’s murder case.

This is a truly rational decision taken by the students. Since the process of providing justice has already started with the apprehension of the culprits it is only a matter of time before something comes out of it. However, it is a matter of time, and until that is done the students should not hamper any public activities. They have shown their protest against an injustice and now the government authorities are finding out a way to mend the emotional trauma which the students have faced in the past few days.

The Buet students should let this play

out its course and in due time the

government will surely provide

a fair justice for the affected

Meanwhile, the government authorities’ actions are quite commendable in this regard. They have quickly taken note on the degrading situation which was unfolding because of the students’ protests and have appropriately acted to calm the situation before it escalated any further.

The Buet students should let this play out its course and in due time the government will surely provide a fair justice for the affected. Moreover, students should not take law into their own hands. It hampers the states sovereignty and also reduces statewide morale.

The authorities concerned with this issue should be prompt in their actions and take adequate measures to provide justice. The main priority should be to provide an acceptable trial for the murderers. On the other hand, the students have shown immense resilience and patience during this time, it is a notion which reflects the Bangalis spirit of independence.
