Leaders of the Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust visited the spot four-murder at Ukhia upazila I Cox's Bazaar.
A delegation led by Vice Chairman of the trust Supt Bhushan Baruya visited the spot and relatives of the deceased.
Supt Bhushan Barua said that there were three or four issues are being investigated in connection with the murder. The mystery of the incident will come out. However, the law enforcers are working tirelessly in this regard.
He also said that no provocative statements should be made until the investigation is over.
Supt Bhushan Barua was accompanied by the trustee of the Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust Basanti Chakma, trustee Dalim Kumar Barua, trustee Dipankar Barua-Pintu, member of Cox's Bazaar Zila Parishad r Ashraf Jahan Kajal, Ukhia Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md. Abul Mansur, Palong UP Chairman Khairul Alam Chowdhury and teacher Medhu Kumar Barua
Earlier, a delegation of human rights activists led Shaheena Akter Pachi visited the spot. In the meanwhile, the relatives of the deceased demanded exemplary punishment after finding out the culprits by investigating the incident.
Throat slit bodies of four members of the family were found at the home of Kuwait expatriate Roken Barua at Purboratnap village under Ratnapalong union of Ukhia upazila in Cox’s Bazaar in the early morning on Thursday. The incident of gruesome murder took place on Wednesday night.
