BTV launches two new digital studios

BTV's two show studios have been digitised for modernisation and upgrading of programmes. 

BTV Director General SM Haroon Ur Rashid presided over the inaugural ceremony of the two digital studios on Wednesday with Information Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud as the chief guest and Dr Murad Hasan as special guest.

The studios are Shaheed AFM Siddique Digital Studio and Shahid Akmal Khan Digital Studio. 

At the inaugural event, the information minister said, "It should be kept in mind what message we are giving to society while making the programmes. BTV has already made a special contribution to our people. It is my earnest request to the producers, directors, executives, and artists that they contribute more vigorously in the future.”

Murad Hasan said, "On March 17, we are going to celebrate 100th birth anniversary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Before that, BTV needs to be established as a digital TV.”

Also present on the occasion, among others, were former BTV Director General Md Hamid, Syed Hasan Imam, Laila Hassan, Ataur Rahman, SM Mohsin, Azizul Hakim, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Tanveen Sweeti, Tarin Jahan, Khairul Anam Shakil, Mahbuba Ferdous and Md Mahfuzar Bazar Rahman.
